Through Roam, our dedicated location department, we aim to bridge the gap between on-set capture and post production, offering Data Management and Near Set Colour services in all environments. We work closely with Production Teams and Creatives, from project conception to shoot wrap, ensuring every element of the workflow receives the expected professionalism and attention. In conjunction with our post team, we offer a full range of post-shoot services, keeping the whole process in the same ecosystem.

Whether it’s a simple Data Offload package, to technical Colour Grading and Editorial Dailies Deliveries, Roam is a one-stop service for your production capture and post production needs.

Across our Manchester and Bristol locations, we've created exceptional editing environments where cutting-edge technology meets modern design.

In Manchester, our 35 offline edit suites are equipped with Avid Media Composer and with Boris Continuum plugins as standard, supporting a wide range of workflows and software packages. Connected via Avid Nexis F5 shared storage, the facility enables true collaboration and seamless Avid project sharing across multiple rooms, all supported by our in-house technical and workflow teams. 

Each suite is light, spacious, and air-conditioned, featuring AKA height-adjustable desks and Herman Miller chairs to ensure all-day comfort. With views over St John’s Gardens or the vibrant city streets below, the setting is as inspiring as it is practical.

In Bristol, our 18 offline edit suites offer the same powerful technical specification, with Avid Media Composer, Boris Continuum plugins and Avid Nexis F2 shared storage enabling collaborative workflows across the building. Located within Edgecumbe Hall, a beautiful grade II listed manor, our Bristol home pairs state-of-the art technology with grand period architecture. From sweeping staircases, high ceilings with intricate detailing, extensive grounds and multiple roof terraces, we've designed an environment that inspires creativity as much as productivity.

Our fully staffed Online department delivers precision finishing across every format, from HD to 4K, SDR to HDR.

We offer four Avid Symphony suites, two Autodesk Flame Suites in Manchester, and three multipurpose DaVinci Resolve or Symphony suites in Bristol, all with 4K monitoring. This gives us the flexibility to scale projects smoothly, whether it's long-form feature production or shorter commercial projects.

We work across scripted and unscripted formats, documentary, natural history, commercials, and children's animation. Our dedicated short form and animation team handles 2D animation, stop motion and live action, using Autodesk Flame, Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite to deliver creative, technically robust finishes for every platform. 

From fast-turnaround campaigns or landmark natural history years in the making, we have the expertise to meet the creative and technical needs of any broadcaster or streamer. 

And as machine learning tools evolve, security stays front and centre. None of our Online suites are web or cloud connected, keeping all use of plugins, renders and the growing ability to transcribe from within the software strictly behind our secure firewall.

With both locations housing multiple state-of-the-art Pro Tools-equipped theatres and sound booths, interconnected via line-of-sight or camera in any configuration you need, we offer unmatched flexibility and technical capability. Our services include full tracklay support, covering dialogue and FX editing, ADR, and voice-over recording.

Each Home location has flagship Dolby Atmos Home 7.1.4 theatres installed, with Manchester boasting the largest in the North. These are perfectly suited for audio post-production across a wide range of content: commercials, animation, natural history, light entertainment, documentaries, films, and scripted drama.

We can remotely link to talent and other studios, anywhere in the world, in various ways depending on the requirements of the job.

Our Nucoda and Resolve grading suites are equipped with Sony professional monitors capable of full HD through to 4K in both SDR and HDR, providing precision for every format. Working from a high-speed SSD server, our setup ensures seamless performance for even the most demanding projects. Combined with Nucoda Precision and Resolve Advanced Panels, and a robust remote review system, we offer a fast, flexible, and collaborative approach to colour grading — whether you’re in the room or halfway across the world.

At Home, we pair industry-leading tools with trusted partners nationwide to deliver flexible, secure workflows for remote collaboration, as well as fully remote, hybrid, or on-site edit suite access from both our locations. From live streaming for instant feedback to high-speed asset sharing and watermark-protected review links for viewing on your schedule, every setup is tailored to your production. The result is a seamless, efficient process - precisely matched to your needs, wherever your team is in the world.

We are able to offer a one-stop solution for your short form or long form picture needs, with our VFX partners on-site to help ensure a seamless workflow with our Home online and grade departments - saving valuable time during the final stages of your picture post production.

A team of the very best creative artists are on hand to help with any requirements, from title sequences, compositing, clean-ups, paint-outs, screen replacements, to any level of complex motion graphics and VFX shots, all the way through to final delivery.

Our locations are warm, welcoming, and built for collaboration.

Our Manchester home is the largest post production facility in the UK, based outside of London. 

We understand that as well as having spacious premium suites to work in with our team of creatives, it is equally important that your production is comfortable whilst based in our facility. We want you to feel at Home at all times.

We offer two large meeting rooms, three production offices (with 4, 8 or 12 desks), and break-out space galore. When you need time away from the desk, there’s a café downstairs, a big bar, and a roof terrace to enjoy all those sunny days in Manchester.

On top of this, our wow factor, state-of-the-art Screening Theatre seats 50 and flexes to suit the occasion, from sign-offs to screenings, wrap parties, auditions, training courses, industry talks, film clubs, quiz nights, and much much more. There’s even an adjoining entertainment space for those essential post-event drinks and nibbles.

Our Bristol home brings the same welcoming feel to the South West, in a prime location between bustling Clifton, Whiteladies Road, and the city centre.

Our stunning Grade II listed building is the perfect backdrop for a comfortable, productive experience. We offer modern production offices, private breakout spaces, and meeting rooms designed for focused work and easy collaboration. It's a calm, creative environment which is close to the buzz, but tucked away enough to get the work done.
