Through Roam, our dedicated location department, we aim to bridge the gap between on-set capture and post production, offering Data Management and Near Set Colour services in any and all environments. We work closely with both Production Teams and Creatives, from project conception to the end of shoot, ensuring every element of the workflow receives the relevant professionalism and attention that is to be expected. In conjunction with our post team, we can offer a full range of services after the shoot has finished, keeping the whole process in the same ecosystem.

Whether it’s a simple Data Offload package, to technical Colour Grading and Editorial Dailies Deliveries, Roam is a one-stop service for all of your production capture and post production needs.

Each of our 35 offline edit suites come equipped with Avid Media Composer, and with Boris Continuum plugins as standard, whilst offering the flexibility to support a wide range of workflows and software packages. All suites are connected to our Avid Nexis F5 shared storage, enabling true collaboration and Avid project sharing across multiple rooms and supported by our in-house technical and workflow teams. 

But it’s not just about the tech. Every room is light, spacious, air-conditioned, with AKA height-adjustable desks and Herman Miller chairs designed for all-day comfort. Views over St John’s Gardens or the bustling city streets below create an inspiring backdrop to any project.

And if you’d rather stay closer to home, our remote and hybrid solutions let you plug into the same powerful workflows from anywhere in the world.

Our fully staff based Online department features four Avid Symphony Suites and two Autodesk Flame Suites to deliver finishing in all requirements, from HD to 4K, to SDR and HDR. With 4K monitoring capabilities and all the up-to-date tools, we bring precision, creativity, and technical excellence.

Along with a vast array of long form scripted and unscripted broadcast projects, our short form and animation team are able to deliver high quality creative and technical finishing to a wide variety of shows and commercials. Working on 2d animation, stop motion and live action, using Autodesk Flame, Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite offering great flexibility and

allowing us to deliver to the full variety of platforms and channels. Working on long running tv series for childrens animation or quick turn-around commercial projects the suites are able to adapt to each job as necessary for the production.

With the growing use of machine learning and AI we make sure that none of our Onlines are web or cloud connected keeping all use of plugins, renders and the growing ability to transcribe from within the software, strictly behind our secure firewall.

Manchester's expert team of re-recording mixers uses the latest equipment, software, and plugins to ensure your project sounds exceptional.

With six state-of-the-art Pro Tools-equipped theatres and two sound booths, interconnected via line of sight or camera in any configuration you need, we offer unmatched flexibility and technical capability. Our services include full track-lay support, covering dialogue and FX editing, ADR and voice-over recording.

Our two flagship Dolby Atmos Home 7.1.4 theatres are the largest in The North, perfectly suited for audio post-production across a wide range of content: commercials, animation, light entertainment, documentaries, films, and scripted drama.

We can remotely link to talent and other studios, anywhere in the world, in various ways depending on the requirements of the job.

Our Nucoda grading suite is equipped with Sony professional monitors capable of full HD through 4K in both SDR and HDR, providing precision for every format. Working from a high-speed SSD server, our setup ensures seamless performance for even the most demanding projects. Combined with Nucoda Precision Panels and a robust remote review system, we offer a fast, flexible, and collaborative approach to colour grading — whether you’re in the room or halfway across the world.

At Home, we pair industry-leading tools with trusted partners nationwide to deliver flexible, secure workflows for remote collaboration, as well as fully remote, hybrid, or on-site edit suite access from our central Manchester facility. From live streaming for instant feedback to high-speed asset sharing and watermark-protected review links for viewing on your schedule, every setup is tailored to your production. We are able to offer a one-stop solution for your short form or long form picture needs, with our VFX partners on-site to help ensure a seamless workflow with our Home online and grade departments - saving valuable time during the final stages of your picture post production.

A team of the very best creative artists are on hand to help with any requirements, from title sequences, compositing, clean-ups, paint-outs, screen replacements, to any level of complex motion graphics and VFX shots, all the way through to final delivery.

Home is the biggest post production facility in the UK, based outside of London. 

We understand that as well as having spacious premium suites to collaborate in with our team of creatives, it is equally important that your production is comfortable whilst based in our facility. We want you to feel at Home at all times.

We can offer the use of two large meeting rooms, three production offices (with 4, 8 or 12 desks), and break-out space galore. When you want some time away from the desk we have a café downstairs, big bar, and a roof terrace to enjoy all those sunny days in Manchester.

On top of this, Our wow factor state-of-the-art Screening Theatre gets used for sign-offs, wrap parties, auditions, training courses, industry talks, film clubs, quiz nights, and much much more. 

It holds up to 50 people, with flexible seating to adapt to whatever lay-out you may need for any event, with an entertainment space alongside for those essential post-event drinks and nibbles.
